It's still alive!
It's been awhile (git history says 2021)!
BEdit started out as a little extension to my text editor I was working on back then, and the text editor... well, it sucked (but I'm working on v2 for that!). However this little extension didn't suck, so I came back to the editor - not to edit text, but to use what is now BEdit.
After I started making BEdit its own beast, a lot has happened. Three work places later, and I now have co-founded a company (https://gameloom-studio.itch.io/) - so I've had very little time available for... well, anything.
But I still use BEdit and it still helps me find bugs. For the last more-than-I-care-to-admit amount of weekends I've been updating the app. I took a look at the codebase and realized it needed a big re-haul, and after 8 383 deleted lines and 25 358 added lines, there's a small update - focused mostly on stability.
Although you can download the wip update right here, the main purpose of this update is to say: It's still alive!
I also decided to make a Discord Channel on our main discord, because I often forget to visit forums and a quick chat is usually just better in every regard.
If nothing else, stay tuned for more updates!

really hyped for the update, i like BEdit. but what did you add in those 25K lines 💀
:D Well, to be fair about 50% of added code was just for automated tests!
